No banner to close, because there is nothing to accept. Here, in detail, is what this website does and what stays on your phone.

Nobody follows you
No cookies, analytics, pixels or ads. Fonts, photos, maps and scripts are hosted on our own site: opening a page contacts nobody else.

Your position
GPS only turns on when you ask: by tapping “Where am I?” on the map or “Save where I parked”. The phone uses your position to draw the route, and we don't send it anywhere.

Weather: Open-Meteo
It is the only request to another service. In the days before the festival the site asks Open-Meteo for the forecast at Catignano's coordinates (42.3462 N, 13.9502 E), never yours. As with any web page, Open-Meteo sees the device's IP address, and nothing else.

External links
Google Maps, Apple Maps, Waze, Instagram and Facebook only open if you tap their links. From there, their own privacy rules apply.
What stays on your device
Some choices are remembered in the browser storage (localStorage) of this device. They never leave the phone and you can delete them whenever you like.

For the length of the visit only (sessionStorage) we also remember whether you have seen the opening animation (novello.intro) and the install tip (novello.install.seen).
To work without a connection, the site keeps pages, maps and photos in the browser cache (service worker). These are only the site's own files.
